Aristea Hotel - Elounda (Crete)

The overall vibe felt outdated, like entering a relic from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. The bathroom situation didn't do the hotel any favors-rust stains and a cramped feel left a sour taste. Breakfast options were minimal, a far cry from what you'd expect to energize you for a full day in the sun.

The staff were affable and amicable and the location was fantastic close to everything. We stayed in an air-conditioned and clean room that had a fridge, climate control, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels...

Nothing, no complaints at all!

The location

The owner of the hotel was always rude.they change towels every three days and linen once a week.the breakfast was terrible and they had the worst coffee that I ever tried.if you don't eat at their restaurant witch is under the hotel they wan't treat you nice. Was not hot water in the shower for a week.it was in a good location but the all the rest make you feel very unwelcome at the hotel.i wouldn't recommend this to anybody.

The hotel has an excellent location right by the harbor, making it easy to enjoy the seaside atmosphere and local dining options.

The bathroom shower curtain did not adequately contain water, resulting in a wet bathroom floor after each use.

I loved the hotel, its air conditioned room and incredible staff. My stay was very enjoyable here❤

The location was great: 2 minutes from the village square with shops and restaurants and the beach was only 5 mins away. Lots of free parking

Authentic charm near the sea

The hotel boasts an authentic family-run atmosphere, and I loved the warm welcome from the staff at dinner. The picturesque location offers easy access to local dining and sightseeing.

While the shower was compact and occasionally spilled water onto the bathroom floor, this was manageable with the floor mat. A few more power sockets would have been handy for my devices.

The location is superb, right by the water with fine harbor views. The room had comfortable beds, and the daily housekeeping ensured everything felt fresh. Enjoyed the lovely little courtyard for breakfast. The bathroom needs updating as it felt quite dated and cramped. I encountered issues with the shower, small and spilled water onto the bathroom floor. Breakfast lacked variety, and there were limited options. The staff at reception were polite, but not always helpful when it came to resolving issues. Enjoyed my stay but had expected better facilities for the price.

Great harbor views, though the room was basic with limited amenities and only one socket.

My wife says that the breakfast options could be better.

Charming hotel with a fine sea view

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the lovely sea view from my room, both quiet and relaxing. The outdoor courtyard for breakfast added a nice touch, and I appreciated the traditional charm that highlighted the hotel's long history. I found the breakfast options to be quite limited and could use more variety.

The bathroom could definitely use an update.

This hotel is nice, and has free Wi-Fi in public areas, air conditioning, and 24-hour reception. The staff once returned my forgotten earpods, which I appreciated. I'm excited to come back next year!

We had 4 nights soaking up the stunning views of the harbour. The room was basic, but fresh towels every day made it feel homey. Brekkie was a nice bonus with yums like Greek yogurt. Just wish the shower was a tad bigger, 'cause it was a bit tight!

Cute staff sharing local customs made our stay special.
